Vegetable field snail prevention method

Comprehensive measures can be taken to control vegetable snails. (1) Clean the countryside. Clear the ditch in time, remove the accumulated water, remove the weeds, ensure the dryness of the kneading surface, and destroy the habitat and spawning place of the snail. (2) Artificial killing. The leaves and semi-dry weeds are piled on the vegetable stalks, and the snails that perch on them are caught in the morning. It is also possible to manually capture snails that inhabit the stems and leaves of vegetables on sunny mornings. (3) Spread lime. After the vegetable and soil surface is dried, lime is sprayed around it, and 5 to 10 kilograms per acre is used. When the snail is stained with quicklime, it will lose water and die. (4) Chemical control. 600 to 750 grams of 6% polyaldehyde-carbaryl granules per acre, evenly spread into the field in the evening.
