Hazardous Waste Information Disclosure

According to the notice from the Yuwangtai Branch of the Kaifeng Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment regarding the public disclosure of information on hazardous waste, the company is required to publicly disclose information on the generation, utilization, storage, disposal, and transfer manifests for hazardous waste in 2022. The disclosure period will run from the date of publication of this notice until December 31, 2023. We kindly request all members of the public and employees to exercise oversight. The specific disclosed information is as follows:

I. Generation of Hazardous Waste

The company’s waste-generating processes primarily include the production of allicin technical grade and formulations, packaging of allicin formulations, exhaust gas treatment, and wastewater treatment. Hazardous wastes are centrally stored and uniformly managed.

2022 The annual generation of hazardous waste totaled 62.61 tons, including 53.4 tons of expired pesticides, 0.65 ton of spent activated carbon, 0.5 ton of discarded packaging materials, 7.9 tons of sludge, and 0.16 ton of contaminated salt.

II. Status of Transfer and Disposal of Hazardous Waste

In 2022, the company signed hazardous waste disposal contracts with Zhonghuanxin Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. and Sanmenxia Zhongdan Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. At the end of 2021, the remaining quantities were 0.04 tons of contaminated salt and 0.05 tons of spent activated carbon. In 2022, a total of seven batches of hazardous waste were transferred and disposed of, with a combined weight of 62.60 tons. By the end of 2022, the remaining quantity of spent activated carbon was 0.1 ton. For detailed information on the transfer and disposal of hazardous waste, please refer to the table below.

III. Status of Hazardous Waste Storage

As of December 31, 2022, the remaining waste activated carbon generated this year amounted to 0.1 ton, and all other hazardous wastes generated have been fully transferred.
